Pros and cons of Beneath a Steel Sky app for iPhone and iPad

Beneath a Steel Sky app good for

If you want to have some fun in between this game is the one you want to play. The only reason i didnt give the game a 5 Stat rating is that it is a bit fast and easy to beat. If you look for hardcor point and click like Indiana Jones and the faith of Atlantis this game wont be the challenge youre looking for.
Tolles Retro-Game mit beeindruckender Story von Comic-Legende Dave Gibbons. Perfekt portiert und mit nützlicher Hilfe-Funktion.
Easily one of the best point and click adventure games on the iPhone. It feels right at home on this device and stands the test of time.
A great classic. Very smooth game play. The hint option is very helpful but if you want this game to last longer than a day resist the temptation!
The game is interesting and the graphics are great and the embedded comic-like videos excellent. I did have a fatal crash but restarted the level and played through it. The support team got back to me pronto which was EXCELLENT. Thanks Tony! Great game.
I used to love playing this game on my Amiga. This is an extremely enjoyable update, worth every penny.

Some bad moments

This makers of this game did one thing perfectly: the marketing ! The game itself deserves not a single star, but I give it one for tricking me into paying for the rubbish. The gameplay graphics are tiny, pixelated & choppy, the sound is cheap and the opening storyline is so dull & pointless I have no interest in investing hrs of my time - time I could be doing something beneficial, like sleeping (or writing an honest review) - struggling to make sense of a badly rendered graphic before realizing its a pipe for prying open an equally badly rendered representation of a door. I mean, come on. App Store, we need better. Who on earth gave this game 5 stars ? Seriously.
Apple must put up these 5 star reveiws themselves because this game is terrible. I wasted my money on this thing thinking a bunch of people thought it was a great game. Now I know I cant trust the rating systems because Apple or the app designers just posts 5 star ratings to sell their products. What a joke
After 30 mins of gameplay, I am completely cured of any retro-adventure-game desires I may EVER have. Thanks Rev. Software.
As a long-time point & click fan, I was thrilled to come across an adventure I never played back in the day. Unfortunately, the uninspired puzzles and weak dialogue make it very clear just why I passed up on this title all those years ago. Im sure it is a decent conversion of the original. Just a shame that said original never was all that good to begin with.
Below par in the graphics, storyline and puzzle categories. After playing monkey island 2 and Hector, which were both exceptional...I was not impressed with this one.
The game is great. I bought it when it first came out, but the recent update excludes my device, an original iPod touch, from being able to play it! What the heck? I can no longer play the game I purchased unless I buy an iPhone? Lame.
